A large Washington, DC-based law firm was using antiquated technology for their enterprise storage and backups. As a result, they were suffering from unreliable and inconsistent backups, which consumed a significant amount of bandwidth. This law farm needed assistance in developing a system overhaul to bring their computing solutions up to date.

In the spring of 2005, the law firm sought out assistance from PLANIT Technology Group to assess their current systems and offer solutions and recommendations. After a two-week period of evaluating the client’s Enterprise Storage and Backup system, we recommended a major overhaul of their current system, including re-designing their backup processes. We implemented Enterprise-class technologies such as a new tape library and backup system for the law firm.
