CLIENT NEED

A refrigerated warehouse management company with 16 facilities totaling over 40 million cubic feet of warehouse space was charged with the task of deploying a new warehouse management application solution for their biggest client. The client needed to outsource the management of a cold storage warehouse at an out-of-state processing facility. This task had an aggressive go-live date for client turnover of the cold storage warehouse to the company. The refrigerated warehouse management company needed an entirely new system to remotely operate their client’s site.

PLANIT Technology Group provided the client with the entire computing infrastructure, which included servers, storage, tape backup, Oracle database and client server software, VERITAS backup software, Linux operating systems, and integration of the solution components. PLANIT Technology Group designed, composed, and tested the new system for deployment. Phases for the assignment included interim staging and setup for the remote operational site.
